What changes
The detector samples frames locally and reuses the last face position between samples. The solid cover fits the detected face so it hides as little of the surrounding frame as possible.
Output and timing
Processing runs at about playback speed and keeps up to 1080p. The result is WebM in most browsers and may be MP4 where the browser supports it.
